The Secret Cow Level is a great place to farm when you are looking for Runes (dropping up to Zod Rune ), Gems, Jewels, Charms, and Base Items for Runewords. While Uniques and Sets can also be found, this is only a secondary reason to farm here. High player counts benefit this farming strategy significantly.
