To get the bug to kick in you must fast forward the scene up to the shoot/don't shoot choice. Then choosing don't shoot will result in the stuck game.

Anyone else been hit with the black screen bug glitch, where you cant see anything? I need friends in these sad times. When Max see any item I have a problem to interact with it. Precisely: I'm approaching to item, I see circle of interactions but just after the while circle disappears. This happens all the time. Life is Strangeâ„¢. I can't see any options of objects. I can move mouse in anywhere so something random happen but can see them. Another sad part is I can see them when Max is in front of that object so they're visible through her. Any ideas? The author of this topic has marked a post as the answer to their question.
Missing flair. I’m completely stuck. My objectives only say to wait for Karen to come back and I’ve literally interacted with everything I can and nothing is happening. I’m completely stuck.
