I got a fix buddy, do this: go into steam common folder, find the gata-sa.exe, right click, properites, compatibility, run in windows xp service pack 2, disable visual themes and desktop composition, run as admin. now everything works fine.

I've fixed it.. Go to steam library, steamapps, common, Grand Theft Auto San Andreas and find gta-sa.exe file. Click right mouse button a click on Properties, click on Compatibility and set it to launch in compatibility for Windows XP (service pack 3). Click on Apply and it's done! Enjoy..

Go "program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\GTA SA\" right click on "gta-sa.exe" set compatibility to 'Windows 98 / Windows Me'. It was matter of compatibility, I guess. Doesn't work for me either. Garbage. Usually clears up for me when I do the Shift+Tab thing to open the steam overlay. Works for me as well on Vice City.
Hi ! I recently wanted to start playing gta san andreas again, using a non-steam version because it is better than the v2 on steam, and the mouse was not working in-game. I tried fixing it with different compatibility modes and installing the dinput8.dll, but it is still not working. I have an AS KluKL.
