Vehicle (s) 2020 Jeep Gladiator Sport. Jan 5, 2021. #11. I agree that the hard top is a bit more quiet and less susceptible to wind buffeting on hwy, but a properly fitted soft top is not noisy. plus not a single leak. I do not notice it being colder thsn my jku hardtop in winter.
Without the added weight of a hard top, the convertible's trunk doesn't get loaded down and, overall, a hard top can weigh 100 pounds or more compared to a similar soft top. Up/Down Speed
