With no fix coming immediatly (and still no fix to this day), the multiplayer died pretty quickly. We get 100-120 players every day but as soon as Vlandia wins in 10mins, player numbers drop massively - both because its uneven af but also because many go and play TDM for a change until siege is done crashing.
As for the rest of it, people online generally have learned the finer points of the mount and blade combat. The big one is speed. Damage is based of relative velocity between your weapon and the enemy. So what good players do is they flick the mouse with their swing, turning the character and the weapon. Try this first; Delete the "LauncherData" xml document located at "C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME\Documents\Mount and Blade II Bannerlord\Configs". If no luck try this; Delete the contents of the \Documents\Mount and Blade II Bannerlord\Configs folder and try launching the game again.
